Office of the European Parliament in Croatia

Office of the European Parliament in Croatia strives to bring closer the work and role of this directly elected institution of the European Union to Croatian citizens. The Office is the first point of contact for Croatian citizens with the European Parliament, and they are committed to raising awareness of this important European institution, which is the co-creator of most European policies.

The Office is dedicated to work with young people and closely cooperates with the media, national and local government bodies, educational institutions and civil society organizations in Croatia. The Office strongly supports the active participation of citizens in all-important decisions at the European level, while advocating for freedom of speech and opinion, gender equality and cultural diversity. Another important task is to provide support to Croatian citizens in communication with the European Parliament and its members.

Creative Europe – MEDIA desk

The MEDIA is a part of the Creative Europe programme, aimed at the European audio-visual industry, and it supports European filmmakers in developing new films, finding partners and audiences across national borders. It is the source of financial resources that serve to facilitate the co-financing of films planned by smaller production companies who most often encounter difficulties when looking for new sources of funding. The MEDIA programme also supports the development and distribution of thousands of films per year, including among others, feature and documentary films, television drama series and new media genres.

Ministry of Regional Development and European Union Funds

This project will additionally promote special programmes and loans from EU funds for tackling the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic, as well as the European Union Solidarity Fund and the contribution of the health system and hospitals in the Republic of Croatia. These projects received EU funds under the framework of the Social inclusion and health priorities of the Operational programme Competitiveness and cohesion.
